What is Milk Found In?
Milk is used in a huge variety of foods. Learning what foods you need to steer clear of will depend on how severe your allergy is.
Labelling
Since November 2005, food labelling laws ensure all pre-packed food sold in the UK and European Union (EU) lists any milk or milk based products they contain. This includes cow, goat, sheep and buffalo milk. This is very helpful – just beware there may be some food still on the shelves that was produced before November 2005. You also need to be wary of food that has been imported from outside the UK and EU.
